# Use Vanta with Super Magic

> Connect Vanta as a Super Magic connector to check compliance controls, failing tests, and vendors from inside any Thread ticket conversation.

Connect Vanta and Super Magic can work with your **compliance controls, tests, and vendors**: so you can check where a client or your own MSP stands on compliance without leaving the conversation.

## What you can ask

> "Which Vanta tests are failing right now?"

> "What controls are mapped to the access review policy?"

> "Is this vendor already in Vanta, and what's its risk level?"

Anything that creates or changes something in Vanta goes through Super Magic's **Confirm action** card first.

## Set it up

Vanta is a **connector**: an admin makes it available, then **each member signs in with their own Vanta account**. Super Magic acts with your Vanta permissions, not a shared bot account.

**Admin (once):**

**1. Open the Integrations page**

In the Thread Admin app, open **Integrations** (`/dashboard/integrations`). Connectors sit at the bottom of the list, below the workspace integrations.

**2. Enable Vanta**

On the **Vanta** connector row, select **Enable**. This makes it available. It doesn't connect anyone yet.

**Each member (once):**

**1. Open the Connectors page in your Inbox**

Open the **Connectors** page in your Inbox.

**2. Connect and sign in to Vanta**

Click **Connect** on the Vanta row and sign in to Vanta.

**3. Confirm you're signed in**

The row shows **Signed in as** your account. Disconnect anytime.

## Troubleshooting

* **Vanta not on your Connectors page?** Your admin hasn't enabled it yet.
* **Connected but tools failing?** Disconnect and reconnect. Your Vanta authorization may have been revoked on Vanta's side.
