Thread is built from partner feedback. Feature requests, integration asks, and bug reports all go through one place — the Thread Feedback portal — where the product team reviews every post, and where you can vote on what matters most to your desk and follow it to release.

Open the Thread Feedback portal

Search existing ideas, add your vote, or post something new.

Where your feedback goes

The portal has three boards. Post on the one that fits so the right team sees it: Alongside the boards, the portal has a Roadmap (what’s Planned, In Progress, and Complete) and a Changelog of what’s shipped — so a request you vote on is something you can follow all the way to release.

Submit a request

1

Open the portal and sign in

Go to feedback.getthread.com and sign in (or create a free account). Signing in lets you post, vote, and get notified when your requests change status.
2

Search before you post

Search the boards for your idea first. If it already exists, upvote it and add a comment with your specifics — votes and real-world detail are how the team prioritizes, and one strong post with 50 votes carries more weight than five scattered duplicates.
3

Create the post

If nothing matches, pick the right board and Create Post. Give it a clear, specific title and describe:
  • The problem — what you’re trying to do and what gets in the way today.
  • Who it affects — technicians, dispatchers, admins, or your customers, and how often it comes up.
  • The outcome you want — what “solved” looks like, not a prescribed implementation.
Add screenshots or a short example if they make the case clearer.
4

Track what happens next

Follow your post to get status updates. As the team picks it up, it moves across the Roadmap, and shipped work lands in the Changelog — mirrored in the Thread docs changelog.
A request that names a concrete scenario (“when a ticket comes in from a VIP contact, I want…”) gets traction faster than a broad ask (“make triage better”). Describe the job, and let the team design the fix.

Track feedback as a Thread admin

If you’re a Thread admin, you can review and track requests without leaving your admin console:

Browse and follow feature requests from inside Thread.

Integration requests

See which integrations partners are asking for, and add yours.
These views draw from the same Thread Feedback boards, so anything you or your team posts on the portal shows up here too — a single source of truth for what’s requested and what’s on the way.
