Find a skill

Every entry in the Magic Library is the same underlying thing: a prompt that does one job on your tickets. A skill is that prompt, run by you in Super Magic. An agent is the same prompt in a Flow, running on its own when a ticket event matches.

Where they run

Saved skills live in Super Magic, so when you’re working from an MCP client, run the prompt itself.

What makes it an agent

An agent is a skill’s prompt, pasted into a Flow, with two things added:
  1. A trigger. A Flow fires on a ticket event that matches your conditions, and runs the job with nobody watching. Flows are event-triggered (there is no schedule or timer), so an agent runs when something happens to a ticket, not at 9am.
  2. A write scope. Because no one confirms each step, the write tools you check when you add the action become the agent’s boundary. Leave them all unchecked and it’s effectively read-only.
This is Agent Builder: one Flow action with two modes. Prompt the Agent carries an inline prompt and a set of write tools — nothing else — so the prompt has to carry every rule it needs. Run a Skill points the Flow at a shared skill instead, so a skill you already trust can run on a ticket event without being rewritten. Every agent can also be run by hand in Super Magic — that’s how you prove one before you wire the trigger.

What Verified means

Verified means battle-tested. A Verified entry is running in production on real MSP service desks today. Everything else in the library is authored and ready to use — it simply hasn’t earned the badge yet. Show only Verified.

Agents you can build

A starting set, spanning every surface that can run a job without a technician in the loop. Triage Agent, Reminder Agent, Intents and Voice AI are separate, generally-available products, not Agent Builder agents. Browse every agent or every skill in the finder above.

Contribute a skill

This library is public and fully crowdsourced — every entry started as a prompt someone wrote for their own desk, and anyone can add one.
Built something clever in Super Magic, or have a workflow your peers would love? Share it. The library is open to everyone — every skill here started as a prompt someone wrote for their own desk, and yours can join them.

Add or improve a skill on GitHub

Fork the repo, add your skill, and open a pull request. Once it’s approved it syncs into this library automatically — credited to you in the repo history.
1

Fork the repo and copy the template

Fork Thread-Magic/super-magic-skills, then copy TEMPLATE.md to skills/<category>/<your-skill>/SKILL.md.
2

Write it in plain language

Fill in the frontmatter (category, role, outcome, connectors) and write the prompt the way you’d explain the task to a teammate — no code, no tool names. Keep the prompt under 3,000 characters: that’s Super Magic’s limit on skill instructions, so a longer one can’t be saved. The contributing guide has the full format and a checklist.

Open a pull request

Submit your PR. A maintainer reviews it, and once it’s merged it appears here on the next sync.
