What is Automagically

Automagically is an IT automation agent that works for you. You open a chat, describe what you want in plain English, and it gives you a production-ready runbook that you can run right away against your clients’ environments.
 Image Automagically enables you to resolve IT requests end to end, in minutes, not hours. The same tasks you do manually every day, done in one click. Once a runbook is available, executing it is as simple as selecting the right client, filling in the inputs, and clicking Run.

How to log in

Automagically lives in Thread Admin at https://admin.getthread.com/automagically. Sign in with your Thread credentials. You can also access it from the Thread Admin navigation menu under the Automation section.
 Image If you don’t have access after logging in, contact your admin to confirm you’ve been onboarded.

Understanding the Navigation

Once inside Automagically, the left panel gives you access to everything you need. The main areas are organized into three sections.

  • Runbooks: where you create, manage, and run automations.
  • Approvals: before running in a client environment, all runbooks are required to be tested and approved. The number badge shows how many are pending review.
  • Pending Executions: when Automagically intents are configured in Thread’s Triage Agent, pre-filled runbook forms waiting for technician approval appear here.
  • History: a log of all runbook executions. Use this to review past results, verify what ran against a client, or retrieve output details.
  • Dashboard: your action center in Automagically, surfacing everything that needs your attention in one place.
  • Reports and Leaderboard: usage and performance data across your workspace.
  • Integrations: where you connect the platforms Automagically runs against.
  • Settings: workspace-level configuration.
