Automagically is currently in a closed beta.
This method meets you where you already work. Technicians work from the ticket, and when Automagically finds a runbook that matches the request, it adds an internal note with a link right in the ticket. You never have to leave the ticket to search for the right runbook. Clicking the link takes you directly to the runbook form, automatically selecting the client and the ticket for you.
1

Find the suggestion in the ticket

Open the ticket and look for the internal note from Automagically. It lists the runbooks that can handle the request, each as a link. If there is more than one, pick the one that fits.

2

Run it

Click the runbook link in the note. The run form opens in a new tab with both client and ticket already selected for you based on the ticket data, so you can go straight to the inputs.
ImageFill in the required inputs as specified in the ticket. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. The form also shows a summary of what the runbook does, so you can confirm it fits the request before running. Click Run.

Verify the result and close the ticket

You will be taken to the Automagically platform, where a banner confirms the runbook was initiated. Click View details or navigate to the History page to follow the execution and review the result.
ImageThe result is also posted as an internal note in the ticket, so you and your teammates can see the result of the execution directly in the ticket screen. Once you confirm it matches what was requested, document the outcome and close the ticket.
