Connect Atlassian and Super Magic can work with your Jira issues and Confluence pages: so you can check whether a client problem is already tracked, or pull a runbook from Confluence, without leaving the conversation.

What you can ask

“Find the Jira issue about this client’s VPN outage and summarize it”
“Search Confluence for our onboarding checklist for new clients”
“Create a Jira issue for this bug and link this ticket in the description”
Anything that creates or changes something in Atlassian goes through Super Magic’s Confirm action card first.

Set it up

Atlassian is a connector: an admin makes it available, then each member signs in with their own Atlassian account. Super Magic acts with your Atlassian permissions, not a shared bot account. Admin (once):
1

Open the Integrations page

In the Thread Admin app, open Integrations (/dashboard/integrations). Connectors sit at the bottom of the list, below the workspace integrations.
2

Enable Atlassian

On the Atlassian connector row, select Enable. This makes it available. It doesn’t connect anyone yet.
Each member (once):
1

Open the Connectors page in your Inbox

Open the Connectors page in your Inbox.
2

Connect and sign in to Atlassian

Click Connect on the Atlassian row and sign in to Atlassian.
3

Confirm you're signed in

The row shows Signed in as your account. Disconnect anytime.

Troubleshooting

  • Atlassian not on your Connectors page? Your admin hasn’t enabled it yet.
  • Connected but tools failing? Disconnect and reconnect. Your Atlassian authorization may have been revoked on Atlassian’s side.
  • Anything else: Super Magic Admin Guide → Troubleshooting.
