What you can ask
“What does ImmyBot show for Acme’s devices?”
“Which software is deployed to this machine?”
“When did ImmyBot last check in for Acme?”Unlike NinjaOne, ImmyBot is connected once at the workspace level — there is no per-member sign-in. Every technician using Super Magic sees the same ImmyBot context.
Set it up
ImmyBot uses an Azure Entra app registration to authenticate. You’ll need your ImmyBot server subdomain and the app’s tenant ID, client ID, and client secret. Admin (once):1
Create an Azure app registration
In Azure, create an app registration for ImmyBot (or reuse the one already
authorized on your ImmyBot instance). Note the Directory (tenant) ID,
Application (client) ID, and a client secret.
2
Open ImmyBot in the Admin app
In the Thread Admin app, go to Integrations and open ImmyBot.
3
Enter your ImmyBot credentials
Enter:
- Server Subdomain — the part before
.immy.botin your ImmyBot URL (for example,acmefromacme.immy.bot). - Azure Tenant ID — the Directory (tenant) ID of the Entra app registration.
- Client ID — the Application (client) ID.
- Client Secret — stored encrypted; leave blank when editing later to keep the current one.
4
Save the integration
Toggle the integration On and click Save.
5
Enable it for Super Magic
On ImmyBot’s detail page, below the setup card, turn Super Magic access
on. (The Super Magic settings page shows a read-only Connected to Super
Magic list — enablement happens here on the Integrations page.)
Troubleshooting
- ImmyBot not in your Admin integrations list? Your workspace isn’t in the ImmyBot release yet — contact your Thread account team.
- The Configure link on the Super Magic settings page sends me to Integrations. That’s expected — ImmyBot credentials and its Super Magic access toggle live on the Integrations page, not in a per-member modal.
- Super Magic can’t find a device or org you expect? Confirm the Entra app registration has access to the right ImmyBot instance and that the server subdomain is correct.
- Anything else: Super Magic Admin Guide → Troubleshooting.
The tools available through this integration are provided by ImmyBot and may
change; Super Magic picks up changes automatically.
