Setting up Magic Title

Magic Title automatically updates the thread title based on the context of your conversations, keeping everything synced with your PSA system.

Key Benefits of Magic Title

Magic Title streamlines your workflow by automatically summarizing the essence of each thread into a clear and concise title. This feature enhances your team's productivity by:

Use Cases

  • If a thread comes in with a non-descriptive subject line, Magic Title can retitle it automatically to summarize the essence of the customer's request.
  • If a customer contacts you saying "Hi!" or "Help!". You can (automatically) run Magic Title after you (or your AI Agents have) gathered more information.
  • You can customize how Magic Title retitles your threads to include key words like "URGENT:", etc.

How to Set Up Magic Title

To enable Magic Title:

  1. Navigate to your Thread Admin Panel -> Click on Magic AI -> Title
  2. [OPTIONAL] You can modify the rules (aka prompt) for Magic Title. Refer to our Magic Title Rule Creation Guide for tips and tricks.
    Caution
    We recommend using the default rule, it was designed to work really well for most users. We provide the ability to change this rule when needed, changing the rule may produce unexpected results.
    With Title rules you can control how the AI behaves and you can tell it to use specific formatting or ignore specific words.
  3. Select which support requests you'd like Magic Title to automagically retitle: chat, chat, email phone or specify it in the flows.
    Specify in the Flows allows you to target Magic Title against specific tickets that meet criteria you set such as ticket source, board/queue/team, and more
  4. See the magic happen in Messenger and Inbox!
