Voice AI Setup - After Hours (Phone Integration)
Goal: Connect your VoIP system to the Voice AI.
Overview: Your phone system must be configured to forward calls to the Dedicated Overflow Number (from Phase 1) outside of business hours.
Instructions (VoIP Admin Portal)
- Log into your VoIP/PBX (RingCentral, 8x8, Teams, etc.).
- Locate Call Routing or Time-Based Rules.
- Create Rule: "After Hours - Voice AI Overflow".
- Condition: Weekdays (After Close/Before Open) + Weekends (All Day).
- Action: Forward to External Number → [Insert Dedicated Overflow Number].
- Save & Activate.
⚠️ CRITICAL: Test IMMEDIATELY after configuration. Call your main line from an outside cell phone. If you do not hear the AI greeting, the routing is failing.
