Connect Notion with Super Magic
Connect Notion and Super Magic can read and write your pages, databases, and docs — pull up the runbook mid-ticket, or turn a hard-won fix into documentation without leaving the conversation.
What you can ask
"Find the client onboarding runbook in Notion"
"What does our Notion say about VPN setup for Acme?"
"Turn this ticket's resolution into a runbook page in our Notion database"
"Add what we learned today to the known-issues page"
Creating or editing Notion content goes through Super Magic's Confirm action card first.
Set it up
Notion is a connector: an admin makes it available, then each member signs in with their own Notion account — Super Magic sees exactly what you can see in Notion, nothing more.
Admin (once):
- Open Super Magic settings → Connectors.
- Turn on the Notion toggle.
Each member (once):
- Open the Connectors page in your Inbox.
- Click Connect on the Notion row, sign in, and choose what to share when Notion asks.
- The row shows Signed in as your account — done.
Troubleshooting
- Notion not on your Connectors page? Your admin hasn't enabled it, or your workspace isn't in the connectors release yet.
- Super Magic can't find a page you know exists? Your Notion connection only covers what you shared during sign-in — reconnect and grant access to the right spaces.
- Anything else: Super Magic Admin Guide → Troubleshooting.
Available tools
Notion's official MCP server (mcp.notion.com — the same endpoint Thread connects to) currently exposes 16 tools. Verified June 10, 2026 against the live server:

Notes: the set is controlled by Notion and can change — Super Magic picks up changes automatically (tool list refreshes every ~5 minutes) and registers the vendor's tools 1:1, nothing filtered. In Super Magic each tool appears prefixed with the connector slug (e.g.notion_notion-search). Access covers only what you shared with the connection during sign-in.
