Connect IT Glue with Super Magic

Connect IT Glue and Super Magic can search your IT Glue documentation mid-ticket — configurations, passwords documentation, client runbooks — with links back to the source in IT Glue.

What you can ask

"Find the firewall documentation for Acme in IT Glue"

"What does IT Glue say about Acme's VPN configuration?"

"Pull up the server documentation for this client"

IT Glue search is read-only — Super Magic looks things up, it never changes your IT Glue data.

Set it up (admin, once for the whole workspace)

IT Glue is a workspace-level integration: connect it once and it works for every member.

  1. Connect IT Glue to Thread — if it isn't already, the Configure button on the IT Glue row in Super Magic settings → Integrations takes you to the setup.
  2. Enable it for Super Magic — turn the IT Glue toggle on in the same Integrations card.

Both are required: a connected integration with the toggle off exposes nothing.

Troubleshooting
  • No IT Glue results in chat? Check the row shows Connected AND the toggle is on.
  • Still nothing? Your workspace may not have the IT Glue release enabled yet — ask your account team.
  • Anything else: Super Magic Admin Guide → Troubleshooting.
